§ 5.28.010 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   BILLBOARD and BULLETIN BOARD.
      (1)   Either wooden or metal structures, consisting of frame walls with a roof, awning, canopy or other appendage attached thereto, or of a single wooden or metal board, or composed of several wooden boards or pieces of metal joined together, upon which are or are to be placed posters or other advertising matter or painted thereon any words, figures, signs or illustrations advertising any business or person engaged in business, or any article of merchandise.
      (2)   These definitions shall not be held to include any board or surface used to display official notices issued by any court or public office, or used to display announcements of meetings to be held upon premises whereon the billboards are displayed, or used to advertise any business conducted on the premises where the bulletin board is located.
