§ 15.08.080 VIOLATION; PENALTY; INVALIDATION OF SALE OR EXCHANGE.
   (A)   Anyone in violation of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable as provided by the provisions of Municipal Code §§ 1.08.010 and 1.08.040.
   (B)   No sale or exchange of residential property shall be invalidated solely because of the failure of any person to comply with any provisions of this chapter unless the failure is an act or omission which would be a valid ground for rescission of the sale or exchange in the absence of this chapter.
