§ 8.06.010 ADOPTION OF THE INTERNATIONAL WILDLAND-URBAN INTERFACE CODE.
   A certain document, one copy of which is on file in the office of the Fire Marshal of the Ross Valley Fire Authority, being marked and designated as the International Wildland-Urban Interface Code, 2006 edition, as published by the International Code Council, is hereby adopted as the Wildland-Urban Interface Code of the town for regulating and governing the mitigation of hazard to life and property from the intrusion of fire from wildland exposures, fire from adjacent structures and prevention of structure fires from spreading to wildland fuels as herein provided; and further providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Wildland- Urban Interface Code on file in the office of the Fire Marshal of the Ross Valley Fire Authority are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this chapter, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 8.06.011 of which Code not less than one copy is filed in the office of the Fire Chief of the Ross Valley Fire Authority and Building Official of the town, and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and from the date on which this chapter shall take effect, the provision thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the town.
