The Life Safety Code, as published by the National Fire Protection Association in effect on May 1, 1996, is hereby adopted as the Life Safety Code of the village. Any amendments to the Life Safety Code after May 1, 1996 shall be effective in the village 30 days after promulgated by the NFPA.
