(a) No person shall silence, reset or otherwise disable in anyway a fire alarm in its normal state, or an alarm that has activated, without permission from the Fire Chief, Chief of the Bureau of Fire Prevention, or a duly authorized member of the Evendale Fire Department.
(b) No person shall ignore a fire alarm or notification of a fire condition or fail to evacuate the premises or area of alarm annunciation.
(c) Subsections (a) and (b) do not apply to: certified alarm technicians working on an alarm or sprinkler system who may for maintenance or repair purposes disable an alarm, in whole or part, upon notifying the Evendale Fire Department; one or two-family dwellings.
