The owner of any residential structure located with the Village shall provide written notice to the Building Commissioner if any residential structure or part thereof is intended to be rented or leased. Such notice shall be provided prior to commencement of the occupation by lessee or tenant. It shall identify the address of the leased property, the name of one or more of the lessees or tenants and the approximate dates of the term of the lease. Failure to provide timely notice shall constitute a violation of this chapter.
