(a) Village-owned properties, including Griffin Park, Gorman Farm, the park at the corner of Glendale Milford and Plainfield Roads, Village Greenbelt and landbanked properties, and the Evendale Government Complex, which includes Village Hall, the Recreation Center, Fire Station, Cultural Center, swimming pool area and numerous recreation fields and courts and parking areas, located generally in the northeast comer of Glendale Milford Road and Reading Road, shall be closed to the public from 11:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. These closing times shall not effect events sponsored or permitted by the Village at any of its facilities (such as the shelter house, amphitheater, recreation hall), or the use of facilities which have been rented to include later hours in which case patrons shall exit the public property no later than 30 minutes after the end of the event. Neither shall these closed hours affect events at Gorman Heritage Farm, sponsored or permitted by the Gorman Heritage Farm Foundation. Patrons of such events shall exit the Gorman Heritage Farm property within 30 minutes after the closing of the event. Nor shall these closed hours apply to individuals going to or from the offices of the Police Department or Fire Department on the Evendale Government Complex property.
(b) Presence on Village property in violation of this section shall constitute a minor misdemeanor. A second violation within a one-year period shall constitute a fourth degree misdemeanor.
(c) The failure to exit the Village property after being instructed to do so by a law enforcement officer during these closed hours shall constitute a fourth degree misdemeanor.
