(a) Terms not defined in this division (a) hereof shall have meaning as set forth in the Ohio Building Code or their ordinary meanings or such as the context may imply.
(1) Wherever the word “municipality,” “corporation” or “jurisdiction” is used in the Fire Prevention Code, it shall mean the Village of Evendale, Ohio.
(2) Wherever the term “corporation counsel” is used in the Fire Prevention Code, it shall mean “solicitor,” “prosecutor” or other attorney for the Village.
(3) Wherever the term “Building Commissioner or Official” is used in the Fire Prevention Code, it shall mean the officer or other designated authority charged with the administration and enforcement of this chapter, or his or her duly authorized representative.
(4) Wherever the term “Chief of the Bureau of Fire Prevention” is used in the Fire Prevention Code, it shall mean the officer in charge of the bureau of Fire Prevention of the municipal fire department, or a duly authorized representative under the direction of the Fire Chief, and charged with the enforcement of this chapter.
