870.09 IMPOUNDING.

Any taxicab being operated in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter may be impounded by the police. Any person desiring to redeem such impounded taxicab shall first pay to the Village a basic charge of ten dollars ($10. 00) plus one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per day for the time the impounded taxicab is in storage.
