222.01  PUBLICATION; POSTING.
   (a)   Publication.
      (1)   Publication of ordinances, resolutions and statements, orders, proclamations, notices, and reports required by law or ordinance to be published shall be published by publication thereof in any newspaper printed in Hamilton County and of general circulation in the Village.  Ordinances and resolutions may be published by title only.  An affidavit of the proprietor of such newspaper shall be sufficient proof of publication.
      (2)   All matters provided in subsection (a)(1) hereof shall be published once except notice to bidders for construction of public improvements and notices of the sale of bonds, which shall be published twice on two consecutive weeks.
      (3)   If revision and codification of ordinances and resolutions is made, and such revision and codification contains new matter, it shall be sufficient publication to publish a notice of the enactment of such codifying ordinance, containing the title of the ordinance and a summary of the new matters covered by it.  Such revision and codification may be made under appropriate titles, chapter, sections and in one ordinance containing one or more subjects.
   (b)   Posting.
      (1)   All ordinances, resolutions and statements, orders, proclamations, notices, and reports required by law or ordinance to be published, shall, in addition to publication as hereinabove set forth in subsection (a), be posted within seven days of enactment by the Clerk of Evendale Municipal Building.
      (2)   The purpose of the posting of the above ordinances, resolutions, statements, orders, proclamations, notices, and reports as hereinabove set forth is for the purpose of allowing residents of the community further notification of the actions of Council, but any failure of said posting requirements shall not in any way affect the proclamation, notice, and report.
