3.01   CORPORATE LIMITS.
   The corporate limits of the City are described as follows:
   Commencing at the intersection of the north line of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 33, Township 89 N, Range 12 W, with the southerly line of the right-of-way of Dubuque Road, thence west along said north line of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 33, Township 89 N, Range 12 W; to the northwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 33, being the most northwesterly corner of the town of Elk Run Heights; thence south along the west line of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 33, Township 89 N, Range 12 W, to the centerline of the right-of-way of Lafayette Street; thence southeasterly along said centerline to the center of McCoy Road; thence southwesterly and south along the centerline of McCoy Road to the north line of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 5, Township 88 N, Range 12 W; thence east along said north line 33 feet; thence south parallel with the centerline of McCoy Road to the southwest corner of “Dye’s Subdivision” in Elk Run Heights; thence east along the south line of said “Dye’s Subdivision” in Elk Run Heights as extended to the east line of Section 5, Township 88 N, Range 12 W; thence north along the east line of Section 5, Township 88 N, Range 12 W; to the southwest corner of the Northwest Fractional Quarter of Section 4, Township 88 N, Range 12 W; thence east along the south line of the North Fractional Half of Section 4 to the southwesterly line of Gilbertville Road; thence southeasterly along the southwesterly line of said Gilbertville Road to a point on said line in Section 10, Township 88 N, Range 12 W, that is 330 feet (measured at right angles) from the west line of said Section 10; thence south along a line 330 feet east of and parallel to said west line of said Section 10 to a point that is 330 feet south of the centerline of said Section 10; thence west along a line 330 feet south of and parallel to the centerline of said Section 10 and 330 feet south of and parallel to the centerline of Section 9, Township 88 N, Range 12 W, and 330 feet south of and parallel to the centerline of Section 8, Township 88 N, Range 12 W, to the east bank of the Cedar River; thence northwesterly along said Cedar River through said Section 8 and along said bank of said river through Section 5, Township 88 N, Range 12 W, Section 6, Township 88 N, Range 12 W, Section 7, Township 88 N, Range 12 W, Section 12, Township 88 N, Range 13 W, and Section 1, Township 88 N, Range 13 W, Section 32, Township 88 N, Range 12 W, to the west line of the east 10 acres of Government Lot I in said Section 32; thence north along the west line of Government Lot 1 in said Section 32; thence north along the west line of said east 10 acres to its intersection with the southerly line of right-of-way of Dubuque Road; thence southeasterly along said right-of-way to its intersection with the north line of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 33, Township 89 N, Range 12 W, the point of beginning.
