(A) The Water Department shall be under the supervision of the Maintenance Superintendent.
(B) The Maintenance Superintendent shall be responsible for the management and operation of the water and wells of the town, as well as supervision and control over such persons employed by the town and assigned to his or her department. The Maintenance Superintendent shall connect and disconnect water service, and shall perform such other duties as may be assigned to him or her by the Board of Trustees.
(C) The Maintenance Superintendent shall make a written report to the Board of Trustees and shall make such recommendations as are proper for the efficient operation of the water and sewer systems, and improvements thereof.
