§ 94.050 SIGNS AND STREETS.
   No owner or occupant of any store or other building shall fix, put up or erect, or suffer to remain fixed, put up, hung, or erected any sign, show bill, show case, canvas, or any other thing projecting from any such building or store, or hang over the sidewalk more than three feet; but that this section shall not be construed to forbid any person from maintaining an awning in front of his or her place of business which is at least seven feet over the sidewalk. Nor shall any person set a post or other obstruction in any street or alley in the town for the purpose of fastening thereto any awning or sign, or for any other purpose. Nor shall any person erect, construct, or maintain any wooden awning or shed in or over any street, alley, or sidewalk in the town.
