No person shall injure or tear up any pavement, sidewalk or crosswalk, drain or sewer, or any part thereof, or dig any hole, ditch, or drain in any street, alley, sidewalk, crossing, or other public ground in the town, or remove any of the gravel, sand, or soil from any street or alley without written authority from the Board of Trustees.
