§ 35.111 ESTABLISHMENT OF FUNDS TO MAINTAIN RETIRED K-9 UNITS.
   (A)   The City Police Department shall maintain a $2,000-per-fiscal-year budget for retired K-9 animals’ reasonable expenses, including, but not limited to, food, veterinary care, medications, and proper boarding while the K-9 Handler is out of town.
   (B)   The K-9 Handler shall supply receipts to the City Chief of Police or his or her designee prior to reimbursement of any of the expenses within 30 days of incurring the expense.
