(A) As required in the intergovernmental agreement entered into between the board of trustees of the village and the board of education of the Erie community unit district 1, the village hereby adopts a regulation concerning the improper passing of a stopped school bus by adopting by reference 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/11-1414 of the Illinois vehicle code, as amended, and all related provisions of the Illinois vehicle code, as amended.
(B) The penalty for committing a violation of the regulations stated above shall be the same penalty as provided in the Illinois vehicle code, as amended. (Ord. 469, 10-8-1996)
