(A) Pursuant to the authority granted the village, in 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/15-111, the maximum weight limitations on the following streets and highways in the village shall be the same weight limitations stated in 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/15-111(g):
Albany Street from its intersection with Tenth Street to the village limits.
Main Street from its intersection with Seventh Avenue to its intersection with Moline Road, or 12th Street, or what was formerly known as Illinois Route 2.
Seventh Avenue.
10th Street from its intersection with Albany Street north to its intersection with Main Street.
(B) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any section of this Code, the maximum weight limitations on the following streets and highways in the village shall not exceed twenty thousand (20,000) pounds at all times and on all dates:
Albany Street from its intersection with Main Street to its intersection with Tenth Street.
Eight Avenue from its intersection with Main Street to its intersection with Tenth Street. (Ord. 413, 4-10-1990; amd. Ord. 707, 5-9-2017)
