It shall be unlawful for the owner of any dog to permit or suffer such dog to "run at large" within the village. Any dog that is not attached to a leash and held by a person, who is on any property other than that belonging to the owner of said dog, shall be termed "running at large". It shall be the duty of all police officers in the village to take up any dog running at large in the village. (Ord. 401, 11-8-1988)
