5-1-2: BARBED WIRE FENCES:
It is hereby declared to be unlawful for any person to put up, or keep or maintain any barbed wire fence or to use for a fence any barbed wire on any lot, block or parcel of land within the corporate limits of the village within the distance of four feet (4') from any sidewalk now kept or maintained or which shall hereafter be kept or maintained by the village. (1909 Code §6.28)
