(a) The Mayor shall investigate, adjust, and rebate all claims of customers of the Enon Water Works Department having to do with leakage in the water service connection to such customers arising from unknown causes. Any such adjustment, rebate, or compromise affecting and Department customer in relation to such leakage arising from unknown causes shall be expressly limited to such leaks occurring between the meter servicing the customer's building and the physical connection to the building of the customer.
(b) The Village shall not adjust water leakage on any service line connection of a substandard material unless and until such service line has been replaced with one of materials approved by the Clark County Plumbing Inspector.
