The policy of the Village of Enon Water Works Department in regards to Fire Sprinkling Systems in new or existing buildings on the Village Water System shall follow the procedure hereinafter set forth.
(a) Any property owner requesting to install a Fire Sprinkling System must already be an established potable water customer or agree to become such a customer before the fire system is installed.
(b) Sprinkler systems will be of the pressurized, alarm type to prevent undue loss of water and must be approved by the Enon Water Works Superintendent prior to turn on. An approved backflow prevention device will be required on all systems.
