13-5-5: STANDARDS FOR SUBDIVISION PROPOSALS:
   A.   Review subdivision proposals and other development, including manufactured home parks or subdivisions, to determine whether such proposals will be reasonably safe from flooding. If a subdivision or other development proposal is in a flood prone area, assure that such proposals minimize flood damage.
   B.   Base flood elevation data shall be generated for subdivision proposals and other proposed development including the placement of manufactured home parks and subdivisions which is greater than fifty (50) lots or five (5) acres, whichever is lesser, if not otherwise provided pursuant to section 13-3-2 or subsection 13-4-2G of this title.
   C.   All subdivision proposals including the placement of manufactured home parks and subdivisions shall have adequate drainage provided to reduce exposure to flood hazards.
   D.   All subdivision proposals including the placement of manufactured home parks and subdivisions shall have public utilities and facilities such as sewer, gas, electrical and water systems located and constructed to minimize or eliminate flood damage. (Ord. 136, 5-19-2011)
