Any person doing any acts in violation of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. Provided that prosecution for violations of this chapter shall not limit the right of the town to require compliance with the terms of this chapter by appropriate injunctive or other relief in equity or in law.
