A. Connection And Inspection Charge: There shall be a connection and inspection charge for each and every new installation of water service within the town.
B. Installation Costs: The owner of the property to which new service is furnished shall, in addition thereto, contract for and pay for all charges of installation of the service from the water main to the structure served and shall in addition pay the town for the meter as required by the town. The contractor performing such service shall be licensed within the town and shall complete the construction to the satisfaction of the director of public works and any other inspector as required by law.
C. Owner Responsibility: The owner shall be responsible for water line from the main line to the structure and maintain working curb stops. Should a curb stop be found to be defective the owner has sixty (60) days, after notification from the town, to repair nonworking curb stops. After sixty (60) days, if the curb stop has not been repaired, the town of Ennis will order repairs to be done and the property owner will be charged for said repairs. Water service may be disconnected until any and all outstanding charges are paid in full or satisfactory arrangements are made for payment prior to disconnection. (Per motion dated 3-12-2009)
