10-7-6: PAYMENTS AND OTHER CHARGES:
   A.   Due Date: Water bills will be due on the fifteenth of the month.
   B.   Disconnection:
      1.   Power To Disconnect: Water may be shut off if after sixty (60) days water charges have not been paid.
      2.   Notice: Seventy two (72) hours' written notice will be given the customer in addition to the sixty (60) days.
      3.   Reconnection; Fee: Whenever service is disconnected under this rule, the town will not be required to restore service until full payment has been made plus a charge of twenty dollars ($20.00) has been paid for turning the water back on.
   C.   Nonemergency Disconnection At Request Of Owner: After payment of fifteen dollars ($15.00) from the property owner or designated agent, water may be turned off on property that will be vacant and the base rate will be charged while the property is vacant. If the water is not turned off at the main when the property is vacant, property owner or designated agent will be charged the base rate. A charge of fifteen dollars ($15.00) will be assessed to restore the service. (Per motion dated 3-12-2009)
   D.   Unintentional High Water Usage: Unintentional high water usage may, at the discretion of the public works director, be adjusted.
There will be a charge for water leaks before the meter. The charge will be fifty dollars ($50.00) one inch (1") or smaller and one hundred dollars ($100.00) for lines larger than one inch (1"). (Ord. 138, 7-12-2012)
