9-2-2: DESIGNATION OF NUMBERS:
The mayor or his designated representative shall designate the numbers of all buildings in conformity with the provisions of this chapter, allowing one number for each twenty five feet (25') for each occupied or vacant ground, and shall assign the owner of each building, now or hereafter built, with its proper number as soon as completed. When any building is not correctly numbered or not numbered at all, the mayor or his designated representative shall give such a building its proper number and require the same to be put on such building in a conspicuous place next to the street, at the expense of the owner.
   A.   Size Of Figures: Each figure of the number of the building shall be at least three inches (3") in length and corresponding width.
   B.   Failure To Comply: In case any owner or occupant, after having been requested to do so by the mayor or his designated representative, shall refuse or neglect for ten (10) days to number a building as required, or shall attempt to number such building otherwise than in conformity with this chapter and the requirements of said mayor or his designated representative, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code.
