7-9-6: RECLAMATION; FAILURE TO RECLAIM:
Vehicles removed from public or private property at the behest of the town shall be available for reclaiming by the owner, lienholder, or person entitled to possession of the vehicle within seventy two (72) hours after the town notifies the such person that the vehicle has been possessed. The owner, lienholder, or person entitled to possession of the vehicle shall present to the city police satisfactory proof of ownership or right to possession, and shall pay the costs and expenses incurred in the removal, storage, and custody of the vehicle. If the owner, lienholder, or person entitled to possession of be vehicle has not reclaimed the vehicle within seventy two (72) hours after notification, said vehicle shall be the property of the agent designated by the town to remove such vehicles.
