No person shall operate a motor vehicle upon the streets of the town in the following manner:
A. Backing From Curb: No person shall back a motor vehicle from the curb at which it is parked in such a manner as to back through one lane of traffic going in the direction the vehicle was originally headed and into a second lane of traffic going in the direction opposite to that in which the vehicle was originally headed.
B. Change Direction: No person shall change direction that he is headed with a motor vehicle by pulling to one side of a street and backing the said vehicle into the opposing lane of traffic. (Prior Code § 10.06.010)
