7-2-3: DRIVING REGULATIONS:
   A.   Entering Street From Private Road Or Driveway: Vehicles entering a street from a private road or driveway must stop and yield the right of way to all vehicles.
   B.   Emerging From Alley, Driveway Or Building: Drivers emerging from an alley, driveway, or building must stop and yield the right of way to all pedestrians and vehicles.
   C.   Following Fire Apparatus:
      1.   Too Close: Vehicles shall not follow any fire apparatus traveling in response to an alarm closer than five hundred feet (500') or drive or park within a block where the fire equipment has stopped.
      2.   Protect Hose: It is unlawful to drive over an unprotected fire hose at a fire or any other place where the hose is in use without consent of the fire department official in command. (Prior Code § 10.04.030)
   D.   Stopping, Standing Or Parking: No person shall stop or park a vehicle, except when necessary to avoid conflict with the traffic or in compliance with the law, in any of the following places:
      1.   On a sidewalk.
      2.   In front of a public or private driveway.
      3.   Within an intersection 1 .
      4.   Within fifteen feet (15') of a fire hydrant.
      5.   On a crosswalk.
      6.   Within twenty feet (20') of a crosswalk at an intersection.
      7.   Within thirty feet (30') upon the approach to any flashing beacon, stop sign, or traffic control signal located at the side of a roadway.
      8.   Between a safety zone and the adjacent curb or within thirty feet (30') of points on the curb immediately opposite the ends of a safety zone, unless the local authorities indicate a different length by signs or markings.
      9.   Within twenty feet (20') of the driveway entrance to any fire station and on the side of a street opposite the entrance to any fire station within seventy five feet (75') of said entrance when property signposted.
      10.   Alongside or opposite any street excavation or obstruction when stopping, standing, or parking would obstruct traffic.
      11.   On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of a street.
      12.   Upon any bridge or other elevated structure upon a highway or within a highway tunnel.
      13.   At any place where official signs prohibit stopping. (Prior Code § 10.04.030; amd. 2003 Code)
   E.   Prohibited Deposits: No person shall put or leave upon any street or alley any glass, nails, tacks, wire, cans, or any substance likely to injure any person, animal, or vehicle.
   F.   Radar: The use of radar shall be legal within the town limits.
   G.   Speed Limit: The maximum speed within the town limits shall be twenty five (25) miles per hour. (Prior Code § 10.04.030)
   H.   Left Turns; U-Turns: No vehicle shall be permitted to make a left turn between street intersections on Main Street, except for the purpose of entering a driveway on the opposite side of the street. U-turns are allowed at street intersections or at designated places only 2 . (Prior Code § 10.04.030; amd. 2003 Code)
   I.   Snowmobiles: No snowmobiles shall be ridden on town streets.
   J.   Motorbikes:
      1.   Equipment: No motorbikes shall be allowed to be ridden within the town limits unless they are properly equipped per state code.
      2.   Restriction: The riding of motorbikes shall be restricted to the streets and alleyways of the town. (Prior Code § 10.04.030)
