A. Bonfires: This chapter does not prohibit the use of bonfires for school rallies, games, skating or for any other celebration, provided permission is given by the rural fire chief; and provided the fires are supervised and are at a safe distance from buildings. B. Fireplaces And Grills: This chapter does not prohibit the construction of outdoor fireplaces or the use of charcoal or gas grills. Outdoor fireplaces must be constructed of brick, stone or concrete provided with a metal grill and chimney, and must be approved by the rural fire chief. (Prior Code § 9.12.030; amd. 2003 Code)
