9-12-20: NATURAL GAS:
   A.   Compliance With State And Local Regulations: A natural gas system, if utilized, shall be designed, installed, and maintained in accordance with all pertinent provisions of the applicable ordinances of the city and laws of the state.
   B.   Installation By Licensed Contractor: All gas piping shall be installed, repaired and maintained by a licensed contractor only.
   C.   Inspection And Testing: The gas supply shall be connected in the proper manner, ensuring that piping is properly purged and free from leaks. A gas pressure inspection shall be required by the building official to ensure the system is free from any leaks incurred during mobile home transport.
   D.   Proper Disconnection Upon Moving Mobile Home: Before a mobile home is moved, adequate arrangements shall be made to assure that all gas connections are properly disconnected.
   E.   Liquid Petroleum Gas Prohibited; Exception:
      1.   The use, installation, or storage of liquid petroleum gas within any mobile home park constructed after February 12, 1984, shall be prohibited.
      2.   The use of liquid petroleum gas shall be permitted for freestanding mobile homes or within mobile home neighborhoods if installed and stored in strict accordance with all applicable provisions of the international fire code, the ordinances of the city, and inspected by the building official or fire marshal of the city.
