9-12-19: SEWAGE DISPOSAL:
   A.   Compliance With State And Local Regulations: All plumbing in a mobile home park shall comply with state and local plumbing laws and regulations.
   B.   Discharge Into Public Sewer System: Waste from showers, bathtubs, flush toilets, urinals, lavatories and slop sinks in service and other buildings within the park shall be discharged into a public sewer system in compliance with applicable ordinances.
   C.   Mobile Home Lot, Connection: Each mobile home lot shall be provided with a sewer at least four inches (4") in diameter which shall be connected to receive the waste from the shower, bathtub, flush toilet, lavatory and kitchen sink of a mobile home harbored in such lot and having any or all of such facilities. The sewer in each lot shall be connected to discharge the mobile home park waste into a public system in compliance with applicable ordinances.
   D.   Fittings; Watertight Connection: The sewer connection shall be provided with suitable fittings, so that a watertight connection can be made between the mobile home drain and the sewer connection. Such individual mobile home connections shall be so constructed that they can be closed when not linked to a mobile home and shall be capped so as to prevent any escape of odors.
   E.   Sewer Line Construction: Sewer lines shall be constructed in accordance with specifications of the health department and the city. All sewer lines shall be adequately vented, and shall be laid with sufficient earth cover to prevent breakage from traffic.
   F.   Private Disposal Facilities; Restrictions:
      1.   Where the sewer lines of the mobile home park cannot be connected to a public sewer, a method of sewage disposal approved by the health department and city shall be provided. The design of such sewage treatment facilities shall be based on the maximum capacity of the mobile home park.
      2.   Effluents from sewage treatment facilities shall not be discharged into any water of the state except with prior approval of the appropriate state authority and the health department.
      3.   The disposal facilities shall be located where they will not create a nuisance or health hazard to the mobile home park or to the owner or occupants of any adjacent property.
      4.   The approval of the health department and city shall be obtained on the type of treatment proposed and on the design of the disposal plant prior to construction.
   G.   Plumbing Alterations And Repairs: All plumbing alterations and repairs shall be made in accordance with applicable ordinances and regulations. (1994 Code § 19-39)
