9-12-18: WATER SUPPLY:
   A.   Potable Supply Required:
      1.   An accessible, adequate, safe and potable supply of water shall be provided in each mobile home park, capable of furnishing a minimum of one hundred fifty (150) gallons per day per mobile home lot.
      2.   The development and use of an independent water supply to serve the mobile home park shall be made only after express approval has been granted by the health authority.
      3.   Where a public supply of potable water is available pursuant to the requirements of section 8-2-2 of this code within the boundaries of the mobile home park, connection shall be made thereto and its supply shall be used exclusively.
   B.   Connection To System: The water system of the mobile home park shall be connected by pipes to all buildings and all mobile home lots.
   C.   Construction And Maintenance: All water piping shall be constructed and maintained in accordance with state and local plumbing codes. The water piping system shall not be connected with nonpotable or questionable water supplies and shall be protected against the hazards of backflow or back siphonage.
   D.   Individual Water System:
      1.   Where an individual water system is used to serve the mobile home park, the source, distribution and storage system shall comply with the minimum requirements of the state department of health for public water supplies.
      2.   Underground stop and waste valves shall not be installed on any water service.
      3.   The mobile home park water system shall be adequate to provide thirty (30) pounds per square inch of pressure at all mobile home connections.
   E.   Water Line Compliance With City Specifications: Water lines shall be in accordance with city specification. (1994 Code § 19-38)
