(A) Membership. The Enid Public Transportation Authority’s Advisory Board shall consist of three individuals appointed by the EPTA Trust Manager. The Board must have a majority of members that could qualify for assistance from Area Agencies of Aging pursuant to the Older Americans Act of 1965, see Pub. Law No. 89-73. The Advisory Board members cannot be city employees, trustees of the EPTA, or be employed by an organization that receives grant funds for older Americans.
(B) Terms of office. The term of office for the members is three years or until their successor is appointed and members may serve two terms in succession.
(C) Officers. The President of the Board shall be elected by a majority of the members of the Board for a one-year term. If the President is absent from a meeting, the remaining members will select who will chair the meeting in the President’s absence.
