The customer service manager or his designee may make payment arrangements with any utility user who makes a personal visit to the customer service office in the city administration building during or before the ten (10) day notice period for termination as set out in subsection 8-1-7A of this chapter. If payment arrangements are desired and approved by the customer service manager or his designee, the utility user will be required to sign an agreement acknowledging the owed amount and agreeing to the payment arrangements of up to ninety (90) days. If the utility user's gross bill, including any subsequent months' service incurred after signing a payment arrangement contract, is not totally paid within the previously agreed upon payment arrangement date, the city shall proceed with its termination procedure.
