§ 7-7A-4 ANNUAL WORK PLAN AND IMPLEMENTATION.
   (A)   The duties of the Tree Board shall be to report and recommend to the City Commission an Annual Work Plan to implement the Community Forestry Plan. The Annual Work Plan shall outline activities planned for the coming year, including, but not limited to, the following:
      (1)   Annually review and update a tree plan for the community by the end of the first quarter;
      (2)   Coordinate tree related activities;
      (3)   Conduct an Arbor Day ceremony;
      (4)   Provide tree information to the community;
      (5)   Maintain a suitable and an unsuitable tree list for the community;
      (6)   Maintain a list of licensed arborists;
      (7)   Recognize groups and individuals completing tree projects;
      (8)   Coordinate publicity concerning trees and tree programs;
      (9)   Plan fundraisers and coordinate donations of trees or money to purchase trees;
      (10)   Develop rules and regulations for considerations by the City Commission pertaining to a tree program; and
      (11)   Perform other tree related duties.
   (B)   The work plan shall also include what is to be done, who is to do it and how the proposed work will be funded. Upon approval of the annual work plan by the City Commission, the Tree Board will have the responsibility of carrying out the annual work plan.
