7-3-1: DEFINITIONS:
For the purpose of this chapter, the following words are defined as follows:
BODY OF WATER: Ponds, lakes, creeks, and springs.
CITY OPERATED RESERVATION: Any naturally occurring or manmade body of water owned or maintained by the city, and any park or interest in land owned or maintained by the city which contains or is appurtenant to a natural or manmade body of water.
FISHERMAN'S FLOAT: Any device designed to keep a fisherman afloat in an upright position in the water, ordinarily consisting of a protectively covered circular tube, of inflated rubber or styrofoam, with a saddle type seat, in which the fisherman is seated while wearing watertight rubber waders.
LENGTH LIMIT: The total length of a fish measured from the tip of the snout to the end of the tail, with fish flat on a ruler, mouth closed and tail lobes pressed together. (1994 Code § 24-100)
