6-4-5: OTHER LIMITATIONS ON DRIVING TO LEFT OF CENTER OF ROADWAY 1 :
   A.   Prohibited Areas, Conditions: No vehicle shall be driven on the left side of the roadway under the following conditions:
      1.   When approaching or upon the crest of a grade or a curve in the highway, where the driver's view is obstructed within such distance as to create a hazard in the event another vehicle might approach from the opposite direction.
      2.   When approaching within one hundred feet (100') of, or traversing, any intersection or railroad grade crossing unless otherwise indicated by official traffic control devices.
      3.   When the view is obstructed upon approaching when within one hundred feet (100') of any bridge, viaduct or tunnel.
   B.   Exceptions: The foregoing limitations shall not apply upon a one-way roadway, nor under the conditions described in subsection 6-4-1A2 of this chapter, nor to the driver of a vehicle turning left into or from an alley, private road or driveway.
   C.   Penalty: A violation of this section that does not result in collision or injury to either person or property shall have a maximum penalty of one hundred dollars ($100.00) plus costs. A violation of this section that does result in collision or injury to either person or property shall have a maximum penalty of two hundred dollars ($200.00) plus costs. (Ord. 2014-17, 5-6-2014)
