4-1-2: CONTAGIOUS DISEASES:
   A.   Report Of Physicians: Every practicing physician in the city shall make a report to the health officer of all cases of cholera, smallpox, diphtheria, scarlet fever and plague as soon as discovered by him or coming to his knowledge.
   B.   Quarantine:
      1.   The health officer shall issue an order of quarantine to any person afflicted with any of the diseases mentioned in subsection A of this section or any other disease which, in his opinion, shall be deemed necessary and advisable in order to prevent the spread of such disease. Such order shall be served by a police officer or other duly authorized representative of the city.
      2.   Whenever a person is quarantined, a notice of quarantine shall be conspicuously posted on the front door or main entrance of the premises in which such person is located. The person afflicted with such disease and/or one exposed to such disease shall not leave such premises, except upon order of the health officer, until the lifting of such quarantine.
