A. Bond: Each arborist shall execute a bond to the city in the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) conditioned upon his complying with the terms of this chapter and his holding the city and any person therein harmless from any and all damages occasioned by the operation of his business as an arborist.
B. Insurance In Lieu Of Bond: In lieu of such bond, the arborist may file with the city insurance verification for public liability and property damage insurance in an amount of not less than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) for bodily injury or death of one person in any one accident; in an amount of not less than two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000.00) for personal injury or death to more than one person in any one accident; and in an amount not less than fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) for property damage from all work arising or performed under an arborist's license.
