A. Annual License; Fee: No person shall engage in business as an arborist without first having an annual license. The license shall be issued by the director of finance upon the payment of an annual fee in the amount provided in section 2-6B-15 of this code, and upon the filing of a bond as required in this chapter.
B. City Examination: No arborist's license shall be issued unless the applicant obtains a grade of at least seventy five percent (75%) upon an examination administered by the code department. Such examination shall determine whether such person is qualified by knowledge and experience to engage in business as an arborist; provided, however, no such examination shall be required to obtain a renewal license.
