No person, other than a public or private school, church or any eleemosynary institution, shall hold a garage and home sale without first obtaining a permit from the code administration department, which shall issue such permit upon application and the payment of the fee provided in section 2-6B-11 of this code. The permit shall designate the days and places of sale, and shall be displayed at the time and place of the sale. (1994 Code § 33-37)
