A meeting is recommended between the city, the subdivider, and the design engineer prior to the preparation of the preliminary plat. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the proposed site and any special features, drainage characteristics, and utility services that may be unique and applicable to the area. A detailed sketch of the proposed development should be prepared to assist in the discussions.
