(a) A violation of, or failure to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter may subject the person responsible to daily citation tags issued in accordance with Section 1268.11 of these Codified Ordinances. Citation tags will not be issued for nuisances listed by notices of the Housing Officer after declaration of an emergency property threat to the public health, safety or welfare or after passage of the Council resolution referenced by Section 1454.09(c).
(b) Notwithstanding other penalties which may be levied, whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter, after legal notification thereof, is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than sixty calendar days, or both, for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues.
