No officer, agent or employee of the City shall be personally liable for any damage resulting from any official determination, order or action required or permitted in the discharge of duties under this chapter. The City shall defend and indemnify the Housing Officer and any other employee or official specifically designated and authorized to make official determinations, orders and actions against judgments or liabilities that may arise as a result of official action taken by him or her in the discharge of his or her duties under this chapter.
