(a) Fees for Residential Accessory Structures.
(1) The building permit fee for accessory structures less than 200 square feet in total area shall be thirty-five dollars ($35.00).
(2) Accessory structures 200 square feet in total area or more shall require a nonrefundable deposit of a thirty-five dollar ($35.00) plan review fee upon the submission of plans or the filing of a permit application. The building permit issued following plan approval shall cost thirty-five dollars ($35.00) or twenty dollars ($20.00) per required inspection.
(b) Fees for One, Two and Three-Family Residential Principal Structures (Modification in Excess of 1,000 Square Feet). Principal structures shall require the nonrefundable deposit of a one hundred fifty dollar ($150.00) plan review fee upon submission of plans or the filing of a permit application. The building permit issued, following plan approval, shall cost ten cents (10¢) per square foot.
(c) Fees for Remodeling, Alterations or Building Additions (1,000 Square Feet or Less). Building permit fees for remodeling, alterations or building additions shall cost the greater of the fee provided by the formula in paragraph (a)(2) or subsection (b) hereof, or a plan review fee as referenced by such applicable section, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per inspection. In no case shall a fee derived pursuant to this section exceed the fee for a new structure of the size being altered or enlarged.
