Storm drainage improvements shall be completed in accordance with the plans and profiles prepared for the subdivider by a registered professional engineer and approved by the City Engineer to meet the minimum requirements specified in these Regulations and in accordance with the City's Storm Drainage Master Plan and such standards for design and construction as Council may adopt. Storm drainage improvements shall be carried out under City supervision within the time fixed or agreed upon by the City Engineer. All inspection costs shall be paid for by the subdivider.
Provision for disposition of storm water, with adequate on-site and off-site underground facilities, to a City-approved natural stream, shall be provided, subject to approval of the City Engineer. The developer may request the City to create a special assessment storm sewer improvement district for the installation of off-site storm sewer facilities.
Storm drainage, including drain tile around basements, shall not be permitted to discharge into any sanitary sewer, but shall connect to an adequate underground drainage system.
Culverts and/or bridges shall be required where natural drainage channels intersect any street right of way.
