An application for approval of the final plat shall be submitted to the Planning Commission not later than forty-five days prior to the Planning Commission's next meeting, on administrative forms provided by the City, together with nine copies of the final plat map and nine copies of construction drawings, including the cover sheet, grading and drainage plans, erosion and sedimentation control plans, street and utility improvement plans, three copies of performance bond cost estimates and all pertinent design criteria and calculations for water and sanitary sewer and storm sewer design. The final plat shall be prepared and certified by a registered engineer.
Prior to formal approval by the Planning Commission of the final plat and accompanying construction drawings, the subdivider and/or developer shall execute the required subdivider's contract and shall post a performance bond with the City to ensure that all the required public improvements are in fact installed in the subdivision, in accordance with the requirements outlined in Chapters 1248 and 1250. The administrative procedure for posting this performance bond is specified in Chapter 1242.
