Any owner or other person in possession of land who violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree and shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1, 000) or imprisoned not more than six months, or both, for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues. In addition, the City may institute injunction, mandamus or any other appropriate action or proceeding at law or in equity for the enforcement of this chapter or to correct violations of this chapter, and any court of competent jurisdiction shall have the right to issue restraining orders, temporary or permanent injunctions or mandamus or other appropriate forms of remedy or relief.
