A standard-sized veteran marker, twelve inches by twenty-four inches, may be placed on a foundation at the head of a grave, in lieu of another marker or monument. As an alternative, a standard-sized veteran marker may be placed at the foot of the grave of the veteran, if it is maintained flush with the ground.
